Our Shop situated in the heart of Stroud
Armadeli is situated in the heart of Stroud, a town full of vibrant, independent traders. Our shop is now open in Union Street – come and see us!
We are a delicatessen and we have a superb range of products including organic, biodynamic, low sulphur, vegetarian, gluten free and vegan alternatives. We pride ourselves on stocking a wide variety of ethical and sustainable fayre. We work with our suppliers to ensure both quality and integrity.
Come and try out our incredible selection of cheese, firm favourites are Armadeli Truffle Brie, Creamy Gorgonzola Dolce DOP and Parmigiano-Reggiano DOP. We also stock locally produced Charles Martell Stinking Bishop, Simon Weaver Organic Brie and the award winning Cerney Ash. Find our more about our array of expertly picked cheeses here.
We have selected beautifully cured cuts of meat and salami for you to discover. We recommend Serrano Ham from Spain, Italian Bresaola and Jesus Salami from the Pays Basque. And British Artisan Charcuterie is on the rise and giving European producers strong competition. We adore the Capreolus range from Dorset, the Suffolk Salami (particularly the rosemary one!) and Gloucester Biltong. We also love the Pate’s from the Cornish Charcuterie. Find out more about our Charcuterie range here.
We often hear people saying “I don’t like olives”, and that may be true, but we like to think we can find something to suit your taste. Antipasti isn’t just olives, it includes pickles, stuffed peppers, sun dried tomatoes, meze and tapenade to name but a few. Our top picks are Green Olives with basil and garlic, piquante peppers stuffed with feta and crunchy cornichons. Come along and try some, you might be surprised! Have a look at our antipasti range here.
If you like wine you have come to the right place! For us, wine is all about discovery, and there’s no right or wrong. There’s nothing to be frightened of. And so to help you on your wine journey we offer “Wine Flights” so you can try three or five different wines that you may not have tried before. Our current favourites are Petit Roubie Picpoul de Pinet a crisp, refreshing white, Chateau Couronneau Bordeaux a classic fruity red and the Franciacorta Brut DOCG Barone Pizzini a superb sparkling wine made in the traditional way.

Beers and Ciders
Not everyone likes wine (hard to believe I know), and our selection of beers and ciders offer an alternative accompaniment. We stock a range of local beers and ciders as well as gluten free options. The Stroud Brewery range is always popular, as are Weston’s Ciders, but we also have a few other gems hidden on our shelves including Celia, a Gluten Free Craft Czech Lager and Daas Beer from Belgium. Gin is a firm favourite, with so many fantastic local distilleries including Sibling (who we recently visited at their premises in Cheltenham to hear their inspiring story), Cotswold, and Chase. But we also have Whiskey, Liqueurs and Fortified Wines to choose from. This year Rum is predicted to enjoy a renaissance and we will be hot on the trail to introduce you to this fun drink!

As you would expect we have a range of gifts and extra’s to complement our products, from artisan crackers and toast for cheese, to cheeseboards and raclette sets. We have something to suit all budgets and also provide a hamper service for a personalised gift.
