Pâté originates from Belgium and was traditionally a paste, pie or loaf that contained liver. Other meat, such as pork, poultry, fish and beef could be added along with herbs and spices. These days pâté can still be bought in it’s original terrine style, but now there is a huge choice of pâté and pâté style spreads.
Here at Armadeli we have a delicious selection of pâtés including vegan and vegetarian. These pâtés are perfect for summer picnics and can hold their own on a charcuterie board. They are absolutely perfect for Christmas and would be a fantastic addition for a hamper.
We also stock rillettes, which are similar to pâté, but with a bit more texture. The meat is shredded, rather than pureed and makes a flavourful appetizer or canapé if spread on savoury biscuits or oatcakes.

Chicken Rillettes with Lemon Oil
Made with free-range chicken poached in duck fat, these rillettes are beautifully flavoured with lemon oil and black pepper. Simply enjoy them by inviting some friends around and serve with savoury thin biscuits with a nice, crisp, cold glass of white wine.
Potted Beef with Horseradish
Containing Cornish beef that is slow cooked, this pâté is truly delicious with its tangy flavour of horseradish that warms the back of the throat. Absolutely divine with warm crusty bread and accompanied with a tasty, full bodied red wine. Take a look at our organic wine selection.
Salmon Pâté with Lemon
This salmon pâté has a rich buttery taste and the simple combinations of lemon and pepper make it a clean tasting pâté. Would be enjoyed best with a crisp glass of white wine and savoury biscuits or a freshly baked baguette.
Edamame Bean Pâté (Vegan)
A fairly new addition to the range, this pâté is free from dairy and meat. It is a blend of edamame beans, lentils and coconut oil. With a really creamy texture, lime, coriander and chili give this pâté a tangy flavour and a delight for the taste buds.
Spicy Bean Crush (Vegan)
Another delicious vegan pâté, this is a combination of mixed beans, garlic, chili and lime and could be enjoyed with savoury biscuits or Melba toast with a squeeze of lemon.
